Inside your Dome
Sleeping
Each dome has a king bed and a bunk bed. Check out our dome pages to see the individual configuration.
Linen and Towels
We will provide you with towels for the bathroom and when you get out of the hot tub but please bring towels for the beach. All bed linen is provided.
Cooking
You will find a small but perfectly formed kitchenette - a hob with two gas rings, a fridge and sink for washing up! The kitchen also has all the pots, pans, plates and utensils you will need.
Keeping Warm
The domes are insulated and have a log burner in them. We will provide you with some wood for your stay and more can be purchased on site.
Bathing
Our domes have a shower room in them and we will provide you with some fluffy towels for your stay.
Dining
There is a seating area in each dome so you can sit down for breakfast or your evening meal inside the dome!
Outside your Dome
Outdoor Seating
There is a picnic bench and then wooden seats round the fire pit which are the perfect place to sit and toast marshmallows.
Hot Tub
There is a wood fired hot tub outside your dome. We will provide you with some wood for your stay and more can be purchased on site.
BBQ / Fire Pit
Each dome has an inbuilt BBQ in the outdoor cooking area and a separate fire pit that you can cook over using a cooking pot.
Around the Site
Parking
We have a small parking area for your car. We will make sure you can drop your luggage off when you arrive (either in your own car or we will take the luggage up for you).
Walking
The domes are located about 500m walk away up through the woods and you will need to walk to and from your dome when you head out for the day. We think the site is better without constant cars and worth the walk.
Cycling
There is a place to securely store bikes so let us know if you plan to explore on two wheels while you are here and we can make sure your bike is secure.
Noise
We are located just outside of the town of Llandysul. We think this is the perfect location and balances peace with access to amenities. While we are a peaceful site perfect for relaxing, if you are looking for 100% silence, you won't find it here - you can hear the occasional bit of road noise or (more likely) mooing from the neighbours.
Play Area
We are in the process of building a play area in another field so that there is space for kids to run and play - and seating for adults as well.
Safety
The site is part of an 11 acre small holding. You are responsible for yourself (and your children) on site. Please don't wander off paths and into the woods or pick wild flowers. We have spent a lot of time making the guest areas safe but you should treat the site like any natural environment.
What to Pack?
Wellies
We have pathways around the site but we would recommend wellies just in case - this is crucial if you have kids who want to play in the play field.
Torches
The domes are in our highest field and you will need to walk to your dome. There is no lighting at night.
USB Chargers
There is no mains power in the domes. They are fully solar powered by 3 big panels - each dome has USB chargers for your devices but you can leave your hairdryer at home - there are no standard plug sockets.
