Are the domes warm in cooler weather?

The domes are insulated and fitted with a beautiful wood burner, making them cosy— we also provide blankets and hot water bottles to make sure you are cosy, even on chilly Welsh nights. That being said, you are ultimately sleeping under canvas so we recommend you bring some warm clothes and maybe even your slippers!

Can I bring a baby? Do you provide a travel cot?

Yes, just let us know in advance and we can make sure we get the dome set out with what you need!
It is worth keeping in mind that our site is accessed up a woodland path (about 500m) and is not buggy friendly - if you have very little ones, take a look at our accessibility page so you know what to expect. We would recommend you bring a baby carrier to get to domes.

Are the domes private enough for a couple’s getaway?

Each dome is tucked into its own natural setting with space and appropriate screening and planting. We have spent a lot of time making sure that our guests can have the space and privacy they need to really relax.

Do all the domes have hot tubs?

Yes—all domes come with your own private wood fired hot tub. We will provide you with instructions on how to fill and light them. They take about 45 minutes to fill and about 2 hours to heat so its easy to do this when you get in after a day out and we do offer a pre-lighting service for the day you arrive if you would like to add that to your stay

What is in the outdoor cooking area?

Each outdoor kitchen has a built in BBQ and plenty of worktop for you to prep your meals outside. We also provide you with a fire pit and a cooking pot so you can cook over a fire too. You can also hire a pizza oven for use during your stay. If the weather turns, don’t forget there is also a small kitchenette inside the dome with gas hob, sink, friend and plenty of space for cooking.

Do the domes have power and wifi?

The domes are solar powered - we have a big bank of three panels for each dome! The solar powers the lights, a fridge and some USB chargers for your devices. We don’t have standard plugs so please leave your hairdryers and straighteners at home. We don’t have wifi up at the domes but there is pretty good mobile coverage on site.

Are the domes suitable for children?

Yes - we have built the domes with families in mind. They are the perfect place for a family holiday. However you will need to make sure children are supervised at all times. The domes have log burners inside and fire pits / hot tubs outside and we have a woodland on site - you are responsible for keeping your children safe in this outdoor environment.

Do you provide bed linen?

Yes we provide all bed linen and towels. We ask that if you intend on going to the beach, you bring your own beach towels. We also provide blankets and hot water bottles to make sure you are warm enough.

Do you offer on site experiences?

Not yet - we are working on this and would love to hear from you about what experiences would make your stay even more special so we can continue to develop the site for you.

Are you close to the road?

We are based just off the road from Llandysul to Pentrecourt. The domes are set back from the road and are a little walk from our car park. That being said, the domes overlook the valley and so on occasion you can hear a little bit of road noise in the distance. This doesn't distract from the peace of the site and we think our location is one of our selling points - being close to the local amenities and being able to walk into two if you wish is perfect in our view.

Do you have a dog bed for our dog?

In our experience, dogs prefer their own bed (and smell) of another dog (which is hard to fully get out even on a good wash). This is why we recommend that you bring your own bed for your dog.

What is in your play field?

We are working on this as we speak. It is going to have a den building area, some natural play areas and tunnels! We will post pictures as soon as it is ready.
