Rainy Days

If it rains while you are glamping, there are plenty of things you can do to keep the family out of the Welsh rain - and the luxury domes make the perfect place to snuggle up in front of the warm fire when you get back.

Local steam train rides for rainy days and special events on your nature staycation
  • If you have little ones, there are plenty of soft play centres - Moody Calf and Felinwynt are both good options. Moody Calf is part of Bargoed Farm where they also have a trampoline park and a restaurant which our kids love!

  • There is a brilliant little cinema in Cardigan - Mwldan - which also has comedians and other live performers so it is worth checking on what is on while you are visiting.

  • Gwili railway is a vintage steam railway which takes you through the local countryside. They run special trains for certain events (such a halloween).

  • You can go bowling at Xcel bowling in Carmarthen. Its a small bowling alley and its run by a charity. There is a very small soft play on site but mainly for toddlers and not for bigger kids.

  • If you want to go a bit further, in Swansea there are plenty of things to do in the rain -  Ninja Warrior UK, Plantasia Tropical Zoo and more!
