Pont Tyweli Glamping is run by Heather and Barney
We decided to move to South West Wales from London in 2021 in search of more time together as a family and a better place to bring up our two girls who were 2 and 4. We found a smallholding just outside of Llandysul and we decided to give it a go - we had no real idea how magical the area was or how lucky we would be to move here.

We moved with my (Heather's) parents - they moved into the cottage next door to the main house - and a grand plan to build a business. It took us 2 long years to get planning permission - during this time we made the most of getting to know the area and settling in.

I am a lawyer by background and work 4 days a week in my office job (remotely from my little home office). Barney is an electrician by trade but gave up his job when we moved so he could focus full time on setting the business up. It has taken us a little longer to get everything up and running than we had hoped but now we are very excited to welcome our guests.
