Introduction
We welcome all guests to our glamping site in beautiful South West Wales. We aim to provide an enjoyable and comfortable experience for everyone. We are always keen to improve the accessibility of the site and are happy to discuss individual needs to guests.
Due to the nature of our site and accommodation, we are conscious that there are some limitations in accessibility that we believe it’s important to share clearly and honestly.

Site Overview

-
Our glampsite is home to three geodesic domes, each set within a natural, rural landscape.
-
The field that the geodesic domes are on is fairly steep and approximately 500 metres from the car park.
-
We will assist guests in transporting their luggage to their dome at the start of their stay but due to the single track paths on the site, guests are not allowed to drive on site throughout their stay.
-
The domes are accessed via a maintained pathway. While we do our best to keep this clear and safe, please note that it is uneven in places and surfaced with shale and stone, which may present challenges for those with limited mobility or who use wheelchairs or walking aids.
-
Each dome is accessed via several steps. Unfortunately, this means that the domes are not wheelchair accessible and may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairments.

Parking and Arrival

-
Parking is available on site and is located approximately 500m from the accommodation area.
-
The car park is a flat area which we maintain but the surface is shale / stone and so may be uneven in places.
-
When guests arrive you will be able to drop your luggage off at your dome or we will take it up for you/
-
Wheelbarrows will also be available should guests need to transport other items to their dome at other points during their stay.
-
The domes are accessed by pathways which go through our ancient woodland.
-
We are in the process of updating a second means of accessing the domes through a woodland staircase - thus will involve walking up around 100 steps in steep woodland. We will update this accessibility statement when the pathway is reopened.
-
The dome situated at the top end of our site sits at an elevation of around 100m higher than our car park. This means that travelling round our site does involve going up and down hill.
-
We do not have lighting on the pathways - this helps preserve the natural environment and protects the local wildlife. Torches are provided to our guests.

Inside the Domes

-
All domes are accessed by two small steps and a slight lip (for the door frame). The domes are designed with luxury and comfort in mind but they are relatively small spaces and so there is not open space inside. They are not suitable for wheelchair access.
-
The domes do not have features specifically adapted for accessibility, such as grab rails or wide doorways.
-
Flooring inside the domes is level, and everything is on the same level.
-
Each dome has a standard king sized bed and bunk beds, with the top bunk accessed by a ladder.

Toilets and Showers

-
Each dome contains a self contained shower room. The door to the shower room is xxxx and the shower door is xxxx.
-
There is no step or lip on the floor going into the shower room itself but there is a small step/ lip to get into the shower.

Dome Exteriors

-
Each dome has its own outside area. This area is covered with small stones. There is a pathway between the dome doorstep and the wood fired hot tub which is stone slabs.
-
The outdoor areas all have:
-
An outdoor cooking area which has an in built bbq and outdoor worktop at a height of xxxxxx.
-
A wood fired hot tub which has two steps to climb to get in.
-
A picnic bench table.
-
A fire pit with low seating.
-
